Little Land Equine Therapy was developed after witnessing the unique and healing connection that people and animals can bring to each other.

Horses, known for their sensitivity and intuition, create a calm and peaceful atmosphere when observed in their natural surroundings. This environment serves as a unique basis for addressing goals and enhancing overall wellbeing.

Sessions are currently available in Rocksberg, Moreton Bay and Image Flat, Sunshine Coast.

I’ve recently been networking with other therapists and I have been reflecting on some of the most important aspects of being an effective therapist. Of course this is subjective, but what continues to come up for me personally is the concept of relationship. We are all in relationship in some way with everyone around us. Whether you are a therapist, a parent, an educator, social worker, neighbour, a friend or even a stranger interacting with someone new, what matters most is the relationship we have when we are in contact with others. Every action we take contributes to the flow of the interaction with the other being, and they respond, and so the interaction goes.

But why is this important? I came to reflecting on this because I spend a lot of time networking, reading, up skilling...basically trying to improve my skills so I can be a more effective therapist. And yes, whilst ongoing development is important, what is most important is our time and true presence, no matter who we are with. Everyone wants to be seen, heard and accepted as they are, and we can all offer that.. unconditional positive regard, in each interaction, and it can have a profound impact on the other person. So, just be present and curious when interacting with others, and watch the other person thrive. Keep spreading your magic!!
